Police make arrest following gas station burglary

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The Darlington County Sheriff's Office made an arrest in connection to the I-20 Exxon burglary that occurred on December 16, in the Lamar area of Darlington County.

Christopher Taylor, 28, of Travelers Rest, was arrested on January 23, and charged with first degree burglary.

Taylor's bond hearing was held Saturday, and bond was denied.

This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be impending.

    The person of interest in the double-murder and bank robbery in Conway on Monday is in custody. Brandon MIchael Council was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina Wednesday, along with two other people, authorities there confirmed.  Brandon Michael Council was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of two CresCom bank employees during a bank robbery at the CresCom Bank in Conway on Monday afternoon.
