HCS seeks to fill job openings

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Schools is hiring for at least five positions.

The district advertised the vacancies for Athletic Director/Teacher at Conway High and Carolina Forest High on its Facebook page Tuesday.
The deadline to apply closes January 19.

Principal positions are available to qualified applicants at three schools in the county. The vacancies are at Seaside Elementary, Waccamaw Elementary and Conway Middle, according to the district.
The availability to apply also ends January 19.

    A new shopping center could soon bring a Charleston-like atmosphere to the corner of 44th Avenue North and North Kings Highway. Plans for the Magnolia Row shopping center have been in the works for four years now and Brenda Bethune, the developer, said the architecture and feel of this development is designed to emulate the feel of downtown Charleston.
