HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed the BB&T bank on Singleton Ridge Road Monday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at about 2 p.m. Monday, according to Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County Police. There were no weapons involved – the suspect entered the bank, demanded money, and left with an undetermined amount of cash.

The man was seen walking to the back of the building and getting into a silver Nissan, but they do not have tag information for the vehicle, Lt. Denis said.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white or Asian male, 5-foot-6-inches to 6-feet tall, with an average build. He was wearing black shoes blue jeans, a black hooded jacket with a gray hood and white stripes on it, blue latex gloves, and a white mask over his face. He may have left the scene in a small, dark gray sedan.

Anyone with information on this incident or the subject is asked to contact Horry County Police at 843-915-TIPS.
