MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man is wanted after reportedly stealing beer from a local grocery store.

MBPD officers responded to the incident on January 7, at approximately 6:59 p.m. When the officer arrived, an employee of Lowes Foods reported that a white male with gray hair and a growth on his face, took four, 24-pack cases of Coors Light beer without paying for them.

According to the police report, “the complainant followed the offender outside where he stated the offender put the stolen property into his car (SC 4264GV) and drove away.” After police ran the license plate number to the suspect's car and watched the surveillance video, the suspect was identified as Donald Glen Love of Murrells Inlet.

Love's criminal history shows that he had more than two shoplifting convictions in the last 10 years.

Love, 51, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and 195 pounds. He has hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket.

There is a warrant out for Love's arrest. If anyone has information on the suspect's whereabouts, contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department and reference case number 15-000391.

Several people who live on the side streets of Ocean Blvd. in North Myrtle Beach recently received a letter saying they need to get rid of obstructions in front of their homes. The city says that’s because the space could be used for public parking. Around 30 people came out to the city council meeting on Monday to speak out about the issue.
