Fidencio Arguello Sarmiento, 40, of Myrtle Beach is wanted for attempted murder. According to an Horry County police report, Sarmiento was arguing with a female victim on the night of December 25, 2014. The report says the Sarmiento was upset the woman had been with other men. For several weeks, according to the report, he threatened to slash her with a machete and on that night he did so.
The victim ended up with cuts to the arms and hands. While at the hospital, she told police she didn't want to cooperate because of fear that the suspect's family would retaliate.
Sarmiento's last known address is on Enterprise Road in Myrtle Beach.

The report goes on to say the suspect called the victim and said he would return the bikes if the victim didn't tell police. The bikes were later returned, but they were damaged.
