Crash closes southbound lanes of Highway 17 in Myrtle Beach

A two-car crash closed southbound lanes of Highway 17 on Friday. A two-car crash closed southbound lanes of Highway 17 on Friday.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - All southbound lanes of Highway 17 Business shut down after a crash Friday. Traffic was rerouted onto 38th Avenue North.

Two vehicles crashed at the intersection of 38th Avenue and Highway 17 at around 11 a.m.

One car overturned in the southbound lane, in front of the Walgreens pharmacy.

At least one person is hurt.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the accident.
