Man arrested for shooting death of man on New Year's Day.

ROBESON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Robeson County Sheriff's Office officials have arrested a man for the shooting death of a man at a home on New Year's Day.

According to Sheriff Kenneth Sealy, law enforcement received a call at 11:40 a.m., reporting that a man was dead inside a home on Gardenias Road.

RCSO did not release any information about the man's death to WMBF News, but later confirmed to another news outlet that he was shot and killed. 

The Major Crimes and Homicide division investigated, and collected enough evidence to arrest Timothy Ray Ivey on January 2. Ivey is charged with second-degree murder and larceny of a firearm, confirmed Major Anthony Thompson.

    A second suspect was arrested last week in connection to the deadly May 25 shooting at the Koyote Saloon, according to Cpt. John Harrelson with the Horry County Police Department. Joey Lee Henry, 30, of Green Sea, is charged with murder.
