Police investigate robbery at Conway restaurant

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - On Saturday, December 27, at approximately 10:50 p.m., the Conway Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Panda Chinese Restaurant on 3320 Fourth Avenue.

According to the CPD, when officers arrived, they were told that three Black males with covered faces, wearing dark clothing and masks robbed the restaurant while armed with handguns and fled the scene.

$800 in cash was stolen, according to restaurant personnel.

No one was hurt.

The case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call the CPD at (843)248-1790.

    ROBESON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Four people were shot — and one seriously injured — following an argument near the Sundew gas station in Robeson County late Saturday night, according to Chief Kenneth Sealey. The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. All persons were sent to the hospital and treated for their injuries. The statement issued Sunday warns of all "eastern facing beaches in northern Horry".
