A temporary/part-time position for a maintenance worker was posted on the city's website. Duties include general housekeeping, maintenance, stage and room set-ups, electrical and/or general landscaping, mowing, raking, edging, planting, picking up litter, etc., according to the posting. The pay rate is $11.70.
A part-time position for a lifeguard is open with a pay rate of $10.10 an hour, according to the city. The position requires current lifeguard certification, be at least 16 years old, valid driver's license and available to work a variety of hours including evenings and weekends.
A temporary/part-time position is available for an instructor at the Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. The pay for the position is $12.67 an hour.
