NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - In North Myrtle Beach, house hunters paid second highest in the state for a home, according to a recent report.
According to the Coldwell Banker Home Listing Report, the average listing price of a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the Palmetto State is $214,206. In North Myrtle Beach, the average listing price is $369,404 -- about $155,000 more than average.
The top listing price for homes were found in Mount Pleasant at around $416,000, according to the report. Travel south nearly 10 miles, and home buyers can expect to pay almost $100,000 less, with an average listing price of $317,000 in Charleston.
Homes for sale in Murrells Inlet/Garden City ranked fifth on the report, with an average listing price of $263,641.
Myrtle Beach homes ranked tenth on the report, with an average listing price of $231,325.
Following Myrtle Beach, for the eleventh spot, Florence homes list at an average price of $227,382.
