New Florence Walmart to hire 95 associates

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Walmart has begun hiring for its Neighborhood Market location in Florence.

The big-box store said it will hire 95 associates, according to a news release issued Tuesday.

Walmart is expected to the new Neighborhood Market early next year.

A temporary hiring center has opened at 2405 2nd Loop Drive, Suite G.

In addition, through its Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, the company will offer a job to any qualified veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months.

    The fifth and final suspect wanted in connection with the Christmas Eve murder of a Lake City man was taken into custody in Columbus, Ohio on January 12. Justin Marquise Pringle, 21, was charged with four other men in the murder of 74-year-old Johnny Cameron on December 24, 2017 at the victim’s home on Old Georgetown Road in Lake City, according to a news release from the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
