Georgetown officials: Convicted felon arrested for drugs

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - A convicted felon was arrested in connection with drugs, according to Georgetown officials.

Aaron Clent Williams, 32, was charged with distribution of crack cocaine and distribution of marijuana, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.

During the arrest, investigators said "approximately 1 pound of high grade marijuana, a stolen .22 caliber rifle along with packaging materials and scales" were seized. Agents also said more guns and "several hundred dollars in cash suspected to be proceeds of drug sales" were taken.
