MBPD, Target host public safety event

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Police Department and Target will host a public safety event to include Halloween safety tips.

The event will take place Saturday, October 25 at the Myrtle Beach Target located on Seaboard Street. The event begins at noon and lasts until 4 p.m., according to Pfc. Henry Bresadola with the department.

Many divisions of the police department will be present to include SWAT, Beach patrol, Traffic and Waterfront, Bresadola said.

There will be information on many safety related topics to include car seat safety and installation, bike safety, bullying and internet/identity theft prevention and Halloween safety tips.

In addition, the Myrtle Beach Fire Department will be present, as well as representatives from storm water management.
