FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Grammy-winning superstar Kenny Rogers will film a two-part concert for television at the Florence Civic Center.The "Christmas & Hits Through the Years" concert for television is scheduled to be filmed December 2 as part of the arena's new Standing Room Only entertainment series.
Tickets go on sale Monday, October 20 at 10 a.m. at the Civic Center Box Office, via Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at (800) 745-3000. Ticket prices are $29, $39, $49 and $99.
Standing Room Only, also known as SRO, is a new entertainment series based at the Florence Civic Center that launches Monday, October 27.

The Country Music Hall of Famer creates a unique evening of song and story with this double-barreled show, which is actually two complete concerts in one: A full-on Christmas spectacular and a soaring greatest hits retrospective.
The first half of "Christmas & Hits" is a fun, family-friendly holiday romp that features such heartwarming favorites as "White Christmas," "O Holy Night," "Away In A Manger," and "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)." A local choir and five lucky Florence-area children will be invited to perform with Rogers onstage and also be included in the TV show.
The second half of "Christmas & Hits" is a tour de force chronicle of Rogers' unparalleled career as a hitmaker. Joined by Grammy-winner Linda Davis, Rogers offers a dizzying array of classics, including "Lady," "Islands In The Stream," "Coward Of The County," "You Decorated My Life," "Lucille," "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town, "She Believes In Me," and "Don't Fall In Love."
