FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – The 2014 South Carolina Pecan Festival is coming soon to the City of Florence, and will feature food, live entertainment, art, rides, shows, competitions, and more.
The Pecan Festival will kick off on Saturday, November 1 in Downtown Florence, and is expected to draw quite a crowd – there were over 50,000 people in attendance for each of the previous four years, according to event organizers.
Some of the activities at this year's festival include: eight stages of live entertainment, 250 food and craft vendors, art demonstrations, a free kids zone, amusement rides, an antique tractor and car show, cook-off, vocal and corn hole competitions, marathon races, a bike ride, and much more.
