Georgetown hospital to host arthritis health expo

GEORGETOWN, SC (NEWS RELEASE) - The 2014 South Carolina Arthritis Health Expo will take place Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

More than 10 local vendors will be on hand to provide information about health services at the event, which runs from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the mall area of the hospital.

From 12:15-2 p.m., a physician panel on osteoarthritis will take place in the staff development building behind the hospital. Participants include Dr. Petra Gheraibeh, an orthopedist with Bay Orthopaedics; Dr. Patricia Grant, a pain management specialist with Georgetown NextStep Pain Management; and Dr. Lizinia Green, a family physician with Andrews Medical Center. Lunch will be provided free, but registration is required to guarantee a seat at the panel.
