Officials arrest 2 Georgetown men for alleged drug crimes

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Two Georgetown men have been arrested in connection with drug crimes, following a two month investigation.

Tywaun Heard, 23, has been charged with distribution of heroin, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.

Antwan J. White, 25, has been charged with distribution of heroin and possession of marijuana.

According to detectives, Heard and White are believed to be two of the main heroin distributors in the area.

The duo was arrested on warrants for distribution of heroin at a residence in Georgetown.
Agents said approximately $800 in cash, marijuana and crack cocaine along with two shotguns and one handgun were seized.

In addition, five large screen televisions were taken from the residence and an investigation is ongoing.
The suspects were transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center and are awaiting formal charges.
