Royall Elementary in Florence School District One is among five schools in the state of South Carolina who received National Blue Ribbon recognition. Socastee Elementary in Myrtle Beach was also a nominee for the award.
State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Mick Zais congratulated the five SC schools today. "These five schools across our state are models of academic excellence and should be celebrated for this achievement," said Zais.
