NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Kids and parents will notice new signs along a new trail at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex.

United Way of Horry County volunteers created a Born Learning Trail, sponsored by Santee Cooper, according to a news release issued by the city.

The trail wraps around the main playground located in the center of the park and sports complex.

Signs lead children around the trail. Each sign displays an educational game children can do at that stop.

"It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors, do something fun, and teach your children along the way," said Santee Cooper Vice President of Retail Operations Mike Poston.

The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is open 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
