Police search for man after woman loses wallet at Myrtle Beach Dollar General store

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man is wanted for questioning after a woman dropped her wallet in a Myrtle Beach Dollar General store.

Myrtle Beach police responded to the discount store, located at 2000 North Kings Hwy. on Saturday, September 27.

The victim realized she didn't have her wallet after she left the store. After returning to the Dollar General, video surveillance showed "a suspect wearing a white T-shirt, tan shorts and carrying a black handbag appears to bend over and pick something up off the floor," the report states.

"The footage however is not very clear and it is not possible to actually see the wallet fall to the floor or make out what the suspect picks up off the floor," according to the report.

The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 20-30, standing 5 feet, 9-10 inches tall. Police say the man has a thin build and long hair.
