Grand Strand Happening honors 2014 'happening' winners

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The very first Happening List Bash was held at Castano's Italian Steakhouse Thursday night to celebrate the winners of the Grand Strand Happening List for 2014.

The competition named WMBF News Anchor Michael Maely, the winner for TV Personality and WMBF News Chief Meteorologist Jamie Arnold, the winner for TV Weather Person.

WMBF News Anchor Paula Caruso was also nominated for best TV Personality.

"We had about 160 categories of events and people around the Grand Strand. It was up to the people to vote," said Sherrie Glensky with Grand Strand Happening.

    LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) - A suspect is behind bars Saturday, charged with murder in connection to the death of 85-year-old Rufus Revels of Lumberton County.
