MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police are looking for a man they say charged over $6,500 worth of supplies and parts to a victim's account back in July.
Alan James Foster, 26, from Calabash, North Carolina, is wanted by the Myrtle Beach Police Department for obtaining property by false pretenses.
Police say that between July 7 and July 31, Foster entered McCall's Supply 12 times and signed for a total of $6,561.63 worth of supplies and parts. He misrepresented himself as legitimately signing for and charging the property to the victim's account, and the left with the property.
He is described in the police news release as a 6-foot-2-inch, 165-pound white male with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.
