Surfside Beach Police looking for 2 suspects who stole a cash register

SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Surfside Beach Police are looking for two suspects that they say stole a cash register from a convenience store.

At about 10:10 p.m. on September 23, two unidentified suspects entered a store at 1611 Highway 17 North, according to a news release from the Surfside Beach Police Department. One subject reached over the counter and took the cash register. Both left the store in a vehicle parked at the gas pumps.

No weapon was displayed, and no one was injured during the incident, officials stated.

Police are asking anyone with information, or anyone who observed anything suspicious in the area at that time, to contact police at 843-913-6368.
