Woman found after missing in Brunswick Co.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Detectives in Brunswick County are asking for the public's help in locating a 56-year-old woman last seen at her residence in Supply on Tuesday morning.

Sandra Maske Benson is described as a white woman, 5-foot-2-inches tall, and 102 pounds in weight. She has short brown hair and hazel eyes, according to a news release from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

"Mrs. Benson is driving a white, 2011 Nissan Frontier King Cab pick up truck with NC tag AHP-7491," the news release states. "She may be en route to her daughter's residence on McGee Road in Rockingham, NC. She would typically stop at a convenience store called "Sun Do" for food and refreshments on the way. 'Sun Do' is approximately 20 miles from I-95 near Broadman City."

Benson has several medical concerns, including dementia, officials stated.
