South Carolina Education Oversight Committee wants parent feedback

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -  If you have ideas about how your kids schooling could be improved, South Carolina wants to hear from you. But your window of opportunity is closing.

The South Carolina Education Oversight Committee will use  feedback received on this online survey http://www.scstandards.org/review/ to shape new standards for next school year in 2015. All the comments will be analyzed, and the results will be used for possible standard changes down the line.

You can find the exact section you want to make a remark on, then explain why you feel the section should be changed and how it can be improved.

Comments aren't released- but there have been more than 6-thousand comments about English and Language Arts and more than 25-hundred about Math standards.

You've got until September 30 to weigh in with your comments.
