Hartsville Police Dept. searches for school crossing guards

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - The Hartsville Police Department is currently looking for school crossing guards.

There is an opening at North Hartsville Elementary. The guard will be responsible for the safety of students crossing the street on the way to and from school. Crossing guards control traffic at school crossings for two hours each day, for five days a week, when school is in session.

Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have the ability to learn and apply skills in traffic direction. The guard will receive SC Retirement and $9 per hour.
