CCU’s College of Business to host economic growth summit

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Coastal Carolina University's Wall College of Business is hosting their 17th Annual Economic Growth Summit on Thursday, October 2.

The summit will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Crown Reef Conference Center on 2913 South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Breakfast and registration will begin at 8 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Stephen Moore, Chief Economist for The Heritage Foundation. The President and CEO of the South Carolina Bankers Association, Fred Green III, will also be a guest speaker.

There is an opportunity to receive a $20 discounted rate for the summit if you register no later than Wednesday, October 1, by noon. Credit cards will be accepted during that early online registration period. Admission is $25 at the door and $500 for a corporate table of eight. CCU faculty and staff will be admitted free, but they will still need to register. Only cash or checks will be accepted on the day of the event.

The growth summit is also sponsored by The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Horry County Government, and the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors.
