ROBSEON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – A 27-year-old man was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder in connection to the shooting of a man in Lumberton last week.
Clarence Jamar Graham was arrested on Pope Crossing Road by the Robeson County Sheriff's Department, with assistance by members of the Lumberton Police Department, according to a news release from Lumberton Police.
Graham is the suspect in the shooting of 35-year-old Carl Campbell, who was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Lumberwood apartments on Sept. 10 at about 1:08 a.m. His injuries were life threatening, and he remains hospitalized at this time, authorities stated.
Graham has been charged with attempted murder, assault with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, two counts of shooting into occupied property, and two counts of injury to personal property. He received a $750,000 secured bond, and is being held at Robeson County Detention center, according to the news release.
