SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Two men have been charged in connection with illegally operating a tattoo business inside Surfside Beach town limits and tattooing teenagers.

Anthony Scott Rector, 39, and Thomas Vera, 37, were arrested September 10, according to a Surfside Beach police report.

Police charged the men with contributing to a the delinquency of a minor, unlawful tattooing and operating a business without a license.

The men allegedly host "tattoo parties" and use Facebook as a way to announce the upcoming events, according to the report.

Police used social media to investigate before arriving at the residence in Surfside Beach and issuing the warrants, according to the police report.
