NMB Aquatic and Fitness Center to hold fall swim lessons

The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center will open the 2014 fall swim lessons to the public. The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center will open the 2014 fall swim lessons to the public.

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center is opening 2014 fall swim lessons to the public.

The lessons are broken into two sessions. The first session begins on Saturday, September 13 and ends on October 25. The second session begins on November 1 and ends on December 13. The Aquatic and Fitness Center offers lessons for various age groups.

Infant/Parent lessons are designated for supervised children from the ages of six months to 3 years old. The lessons are from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. 

Pre-School lessons are for children, three to five years old. Those lessons are broken into three groups. Pre-School group one will begin from 9:05 a.m. to 9:35 a.m. Pre-School group two will begin from 9:40 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. and Pre-School group three will begin from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Youth Lessons are divided into levels. Level one begins from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Level two begins from 9:50 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Level three begins from 10:40 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. and Level four and five begin from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Fees for AFC members who are interested in the Infant/Parent swimming sessions and the Pre-School sessions are $24 per session. Non members will pay $31 per session. Members interested in the Youth swimming sessions are to pay $28 per session and non members pay $42 per session. There is a three student minimum required to set each class. Class registration closes at 12 p.m., the day before class begins.
