Two vehicles broken into at The Palace Theatre in one night

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Palace Theatre located at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach had two vehicles broken into Tuesday evening, according to police reports.

Myrtle Beach police responded to one of the burglaries around 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot.

The victim told police that he went to see a show at The Palace Theatre around 7 p.m. and when he returned to his vehicle, he noticed the back passenger window broken.

A purse, a driver's license, a social security card, sunglasses and a credit card were stolen from the vehicle.

In a separate incident, another police officer responded to The Palace Theatre parking lot where two victims said that they returned to their vehicle around 8:30 p.m. to find it broken into.

One of the victims said that she left her purse in the back seat of the driver's side. Along with her purse, $450 in cash, checks, and two credit cards were stolen.
