Two wanted in connection to vehicle break-ins, police say

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are looking for two men wanted for questioning in connection with a breaking and entering from a vehicle on Ocean Boulevard in August.

Police are attempting to locate Andrew McLellan and Andre Meadows, who are wanted for questioning for a burglary that happened on August 27 on Ocean Boulevard, according to an MBPD news release. There are no warrants for either individual at this time.

The victim told police he first noticed his passenger door of his white Chevrolet Tahoe ajar when he returned to his vehicle. Police stated that there was no sign of forced entry or damage to the vehicle.

The victim stated that his S&W handgun, his GPS and a magazine were missing from the vehicle

At the same time, another office responded to the Camelot Hotel for a different case.

Two cases of beer were stolen from a different vehicle, according to the police report. Police were able to get video surveillance of the two carrying the cases of beer out of the parking garage.

Another officer noticed two men carrying beer walking on Mr. Joe While Avenue. The officer stopped and talked to both parties. They admitted to taking the beer from the Camelot Hotel parking garage and one of the suspects said that the other suspect sold a gun on the street.

Since the witness was not a credible source, police did not have a probable cause for a warrant.
