Police: Woman tased twice during robbery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One woman was robbed by two men in her apartment Monday night and one of them tased her twice, according to a police report.

Myrtle Beach police arrived at an apartment off Cedar Street where a 45-year-old woman told police she was on the phone before she heard a knock on the door around 11:30 p.m.

She told officers when she opened the door, two men forced their way into the apartment.

The victim stated that one of the men was in possession of a taser which he had used on the right side of her stomach. That suspect then pushed her on to the couch and tased the victim again on her left arm.

The victim pretended to be passed out while one of the men stood over her and another went through her belongings, according to the police report.

Before leaving the apartment, the suspects told the victim to go inside her bedroom closet and count to 50 before coming out.

The only item that was taken from the apartment was $30 in cash, according to the police report.

The woman told police she recognized one of the men from drinking with him on Saturday night.

One suspect is described as a bald, tall and slim, back male, according to the police report. The other suspect is described as a short, light skinned, black male.
