DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The Bethea Baptist Retirement Community will host First Responders Appreciation Day.

This special service will be held on Thursday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in honor of Florence and Darlington County's First Responders. First Responders Appreciation Day will be held in the community's fellowship hall and chapel on 157 Home Avenue in Darlington.

There will be lunch, guest speakers and a service honoring the service men and women. There will also be patrol cars, fire trucks and ambulances at the event.
