Man arrested for taking orange soda from Myrtle Beach convenience store

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Virginia man has been arrested after he took an orange soda without paying for it, according to police.

James Curtis Murdock, 19, was charged with shoplifting, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

Police were called to a convenience store on 6th Ave North. The complainant pointed the police to Murdock and said, "That's him that took the drink without paying," according to the report.

Murdock was arrested after admitting he took the drink without paying.
