House of Blues, Duplin Winery & Grand Strand host 2nd Annual Autumn Art & Wine Festival

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - For the second year in a row, House of Blues will host the Autumn Art & Wine Festival with sponsors Duplin Winery and Grand Strand Arts.

This two-day festival is designed to offer local artists, vendors, performers and wineries a chance to showcase their talent, designs and blends in a laid back outdoor setting.

"Art is one of the fundamental elements that House of Blues was built on and is an instrumental part of one of the venue's mottos "Where Food, Art & Music Intersect," said Dawn Temples Marketing and Promotions Manager for House of Blues Myrtle Beach. "This is the perfect way to spend a fall weekend with your family or friends enjoying great food, local art and music and maybe a little wine too," Temples added.

The event will take place from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 19 and noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 outside on the courtyard. There will also be concerts in the music hall each evening that guests can enjoy.

Green Earrings-The Steely Dan Experience will be playing on Friday in the music hall and all festival attendees will receive a free ticket to attend the show with doors opening at 7:30 p.m.

Coheed and Cambria will perform on Saturday in the music hall at 7 p.m. Tickets for are currently available through Live Nation or the House of Blues box office.

Local showcases include jewelry makers, painters, stained glass art and more.

There will be live music throughout the two day event with Signal Fire taking the stage at 7 p.m. on The Deck Friday evening and Jay D Clark Band performing on The Deck on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Admission is free, wine sampling prices will vary.
