FCSO arrests Timmonsville man for violent charges

Deputies of the Florence County Sheriff's Office arrested Michael Jordan, 34, on September 4.

Jordan, of 1350 South Sansbury Road in Timmonsville, SC, was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence, six counts of Attempted Murder, six counts of Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime, Malicious Injury to Personal Property and two counts of Discharging a Firearm into a Vehicle.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute that involved shots fired at 213 Sally Hill Road in Timmonsville, around 6:38 p.m. Deputies from the FCSO Patrol Division, PACE, CEU and SWAT responded to the scene. Shots were also fired at officers upon arrival. At least two vehicles at the scene were struck by gunfire from Jordan. FCSO did not return fire.

Jordan later surrendered and was taken into custody. No one was injured. Tomorrow, it is likely that Jordan will appear before Florence County Magistrate for bond.
