Runoff election to be held for State Senate District 32

(WMBF) - A runoff election will be held between two candidates for the Senate District 32. The runoff is scheduled for September 16.

A runoff election will be held between Sam L. Floyd and Ronnie A. Sabb, according to the South Carolina State Election Commission website.

Floyd raked in 31.8 percent of the votes, while Sabb managed 24.7 percent, unofficially.

The special election was held Tuesday for the district in Berkeley, Florence, Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties.
