Today's Topic: PowerSchool lets parents track their HCS student's progress online

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Today on WMBF News at 4 p.m., Cynthia Elsberry, the Superintendent of Horry County Schools, stopped by to explain how parents can keep track of their child's studies.

Using a powerful new tool call the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal, parents can track their students' progress online and from a mobile app.

Parents can monitor their students' grades and attendance, get e-mail notifications sent to them, and even view comments by teachers about the student's progress.
