SLED: Woman arrested for making bomb threats in Florence DSS building

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A Florence woman was arrested Wednesday after threatening to blow up the Florence County Department of Social Services Building, according to a South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrest warrant.

Jennifer Nicole Sharp, 21, of Florence was at the Florence County Department of Social Services on August 20, 2014 for a supervised visit with her children that are in foster care.

During the visit with her children, Sharp became belligerent with the DSS staff and the visitation was terminated, according to the arrest warrant.

Sharp then made multiple threats to blow up the building and everyone in it.

Sharp is charged with conspiring to threat [sic] real or personal property with a bomb.
