This commentary is turning into an annual tradition, but I believe it's deserved because of the consequences if we don't pay attention.
Summer break is over and school is back in session. That means lots of traffic, kids loading and unloading from cars and school buses and the morning routine is anything but routine.
First… Be Patient. That makes a big difference. Then slow down. Know the rules stopping for school buses. Don't text and drive.
Remember, it will take several days before everyone get into a pattern that works. In the meantime, pay attention and pack your patience. Making sure our kids get to and from school safely is the top priority.
