Tickets for SC State Fair to go on sale

Tickets for the SC State Fair will be available for purchase on Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m. Tickets for the SC State Fair will be available for purchase on Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m.

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - Tickets for the SC State Fair will be available for purchase on Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m.

Admission tickets and ride vouchers can be purchased at any neighborhood Bi-Lo store in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. Family Fun Packs are available until September 22. They include four admission tickets, two ride vouchers, and eight $1 food discount coupons. For just $60, the fun pack holds a $104 value. Children under five years old; retired and active military personnel and military dependents can enjoy the fair for free.

The state fair opens on October 8 and closes on October 14. The fair will be located on the fairgrounds of Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard, in Columbia. It will feature rides, concerts, food and more. With the help of Palmetto Health, Lexington Medical Center, and Providence Hospital, the fair will feature a pink and white tent in support of breast cancer awareness.

ZZ TOP Wednesday, Oct. 15, 7:00 pm $30 including Fair admission

BRITT NICOLE w/ CITIZEN WAY Friday, Oct. 17, 7:00 pm FREE with Fair admission

MC HAMMER Sunday, Oct. 19, 6:00 pm FREE with Fair admission
