Conway Police continue search for shooting suspect

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A man is still on the run after a shooting happened in Conway Thursday evening, police say.

Conway Police are searching for a suspect, described as a black male, standing 6 feet, 1 to 2 inches tall with shoulder-length dreads, Lt. Selena Small confirmed.

The Conway Fire Department treated a 26-year-old male victim from the Green Sea area for a gunshot wound at Bells Bay Landing Apartments at around 8:20 p.m. Thursday, officials said. 

The apartments are located on Ernest Finney Avenue. The victim was shot in the parking lot of the complex and has been taken to a nearby hospital, police confirmed. The injuries were not life-threatening.
