MCCOLL, SC (WMBF) – Six people have been arrested in connection with two armed robberies in Marlboro County last month, and authorities are seeking witnesses with more information to come forward.

On July 24, suspects entered the McColl Smoke Shop wearing masks and disguises, and robbed the store at gun point, according to a news release from the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office. During the robbery, a customer came in and was also held at gun point.

While the MCSO was investigating this robbery, another robbery occurred in Clio at Jimmy's Cash and Carry. Authorities stated it was the same type of scenario: three masked suspects entered the store, held the two clerks at gun point, and took cash from the store.

A few days later, three of the suspects were arrested in Florence, the release states. As the investigation continued, more suspects were arrested at the probation office in Dillon, and one of the cars used in the Clio robbery was seized.

While the defendants have cooperated and implicated other people who knew about or obstructed the investigation, it is still ongoing, and more people may be charged for their involvement in these cases.

The MCSO is asking anyone that has information about either robbery to come forward.

"This is a dangerous group of defendants that with their records continue to rob stores and clerks at gun point," said Marlboro County Sheriff Fred Knight. "Both cases involved customers either coming up to the store or coming in at the time of the robbery. We are fortunate no one was killed. We have a lot more investigating to do and are determined to arrest everyone that had any part in these cases."

The suspects have been identified as:

-Tiffany Caulder, 23 years old (Misprision of a Felony) Clio Case, McColl, SC

-Aaron Fladger (2 counts of Armed Robbery, 2 counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Conspiracy, 2 counts of Use of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime) Clio Case, 24 years old, Nichols, SC

-James Hailey (2 counts of Armed Robbery, 4 counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Conspiracy, 2 counts of Use of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime)Clio and Mccoll cases, 21 years old, Clio, SC

-Tiffany Reed (2 counts of Armed Robbery, 2 counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Conspiracy, 2 counts of Use of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime)Clio case, 29 years old, McColl, SC

-Hykine Sewell (2 counts of Armed Robbery, 4 counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Conspiracy, 2 counts of Use of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime)Clio case and McColl case, 21 years old, McColl, SC

-Delores Williamson (2 counts of Armed Robbery, 2 counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Conspiracy, 2 counts of Use of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime), 36 years old- Clio Case, Mullins, SC

"This has been a joint investigation of the MCSO, McColl Pd and Clio Pd," Sheriff Knight said. "We have also been assisted by Probation and Parole in Marlboro, Dillon and Marion counties. SLED and Florence County Sheriff's Office has also played a large role in helping with arrests and evidence."
