2 suspects identified after police chase, manhunt ends in Florence County

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two Columbia men have been arrested following a police chase and manhunt in Florence County.

Travis Mack, 30, has been charged with failure to stop for a blue light, open container of alcohol, following too closely and trespassing.

Zachary Chapman, 23, has been charged with open container of alcohol and trespassing.

The two individuals were caught near the river in Johnsonville, Sheriff Kenney Boone said.

    A drug investigation lead to the arrest of a Loris man for multiple counts of trafficking drugs, according to a post from the Loris Police Department. 49-year-old Albert Robinson, of Loris, was arrested on Thursday for 6 warrants of trafficking crack and trafficking cocaine & possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
