Taste of Home Cooking school to share recipes for holiday season

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Taste of Home Cooking School is planning to share recipes that will enhance your holiday seasons.

On Saturday, September 20, Taste of Home's Culinary Specialist, Michelle Roberts will be in the Hall at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, demonstrating and sharing recipes for the season's best dishes.

"From experienced home chefs to beginners learning their way around the kitchen, the Taste of Home Cooking School offers something for everyone – putting a fresh spin on old favorites and adding new recipes to your seasonal repertoire," Roberts said.

One of the recipes that will be featured is Gingerbread Cheesecake, which is popular for its creamy texture and decadent flavor.

The Taste of Home Cooking School is America's leading cooking school program. The program inspired over 150,000 passionate home chefs at almost 250 events nationwide.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to win door prizes and receive a gift bag containing the Taste of Home Cooking School magazine and much more. Tickets will be available for purchase on August 1 and can be purchased at The Sun News, located on 914 Frontage Road East. Tickets can be purchased Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VIP tickets are $30 and general admission is $15. Quantities of both tickets are limited
