MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach is going international.
A Chinese Cable Television (CCTV) film crew will be in Myrtle Beach filming a feature on August 3. The film will be broadcast throughout China. The crew will observe numerous attractions, restaurants and amenities throughout the Grand Strand.
"Our primary focus will always remain the building of domestic travel within the U.S., particularly during our shoulder season. In addition to that, we fully intend to position the Grand Strand as a fantastic international destination as well," said Brad Dean, President and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. This film will continue to market Myrtle Beach to international visitors.
