NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a 14-year-old girl who died Thursday in a three car accident on University Blvd.

Officials say Hannah Bickley, of Chapin, South Carolina, died of blunt force trauma.

Thursday afternoon's accident temporarily shut down all lanes on University Boulevard. The fatal wreck involved three cars, and sent one other person to the hospital in critical condition.

The coroner's office states Bickley was in the backseat of one of the vehicles involved in the wreck.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area as officers investigated the cause of the accident.

Witnesses had reported that the accident involved a Firebird convertible and an SUV.

Pictures show that the accident was on University Boulevard near Tricom Street.
