FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Florence Darlington Technical College is hosting two open house registration events.
These events will be held on July 31, in the courtyard between the main campus 100 and 300 buildings from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be opportunities to complete the admission applications and register for classes. This event also offers financial aid assistance. However, this is not your ordinary college open house. "The college is looking to put a little fun in the registration process. Students will be able to take care of everything from admission to registration and financial aid. In addition to getting that business done, we'll have live music, refreshments, prizes and free tee-shirts to the first 50 guests", said Shelley Fortin, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services.
FDTC registration will take place on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 100 building located on the main campus. Admissions, registration and financial aid faculty and staff will be available to help finalize class schedules and more, in preparation for prospective students this fall. The College's bookstore will be available and students can purchase books for their classes.
Enrollment for the fall semester increased about 7% from last year.
