67-year-old man found after going missing Tuesday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Virgil Winner, 67, was located Wednesday night after going missing Tuesday night near 9th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, police officials confirmed.

According to the police report, the complainant, who is a family member of Winner's, said that she and Winner had a verbal argument about parking.

Winner became upset and left the complainant and the rest of the family and attempted to hide behind bushes.

The complainant eventually lost sight of Winner and then attempted to locate him around Ocean Boulevard for two hours but was unsuccessful.

According to the police report, Winner is elderly, has PTSD, is a diabetic and is bipolar. The complainant also told police that Winner has checked into hotels in the past and would not tell anyone.
